Speakers
Climate Volatility - February 11
Dr. Peter Joseph, Northern California director of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project, will describe how dramatically human activity has transformed the Earth and how the effects of shifting climate conditions will be felt in the short and long term.
John Katovich, Attorney and Professor of Capital Markets at San Francisco’s Presidio Graduate School, will outline how innovative government policies and business practices can work together to reduce carbon emissions, including policies such as Cap-and-Trade and Fee-and-Rebate.
Kiki La Porta, a marketing expert who serves as Communications Director of Marin’s Resilient Neighborhoods, will showcase a variety of local organizations working to demonstrate different approaches to sustainability, and will offer ways in which we can incorporate sustainable practices into our personal and working lives.
