The Stern Report
Sir Nicholas Stern, once the Chief Economist and Senior Vice-President of the World Bank (2000 to 2003), released his report on the economics of Climate Change.
UK Prime Minister Tony Blair says it is "the final piece of the jigsaw to convince every single political leader, including those in America, China and India, that global warming must be at the top of their agenda".".
And apparently Al Gore was appointed to lobby for the British Government in Washington, to make the case to the US Government for addressing climate change.
